Anyone else remember those holidays where you, your siblings and your cousins would all get decked out in dressy attire--the bow ties, poofy dresses, the large curly bangs?! You’d all have to squeeze in a tiny space, lined up to take a big family photo. All 7+ cousins, 6 uncles and aunts (if you’re from the Midwest, we pronounce it ‘ant’), parents, siblings and grandparents -- everyone would line up in front of the fireplace (tallest to the back please!). It would take what seemed like ages and you’d have to wait until the family photographer had gotten the perfect shot before you could begin unwrapping the gifts you’d been eyeing under the tree.
Oh wait, was that just my family?! It’s likely everyone had a similar experience no matter what was celebrated or whom you were with that day. Luckily, we’ve partnered with our friends (and fellow moms) CA stylist, Yoseline Cabrera, and Brooklyn photographer, Yumi Matsuo, for six easy-to-nail, helpful tips to ace your photoshoots and events for the holidays.
Yoseline with her son, Ambrose, is pictured here. Ambrose, wearing our Wren Cable Cardigan, shows two ways to style one of our favorite pieces this season - one with our Carson Premium Organic Cotton Legging and the second with a vintage pair of corduroys from his closet.
